--- title: "Bachelor party Zwolle, escape room + dinner in the city | The Great Escape" url: https://thegreatescape.nl/en/voor-particulieren/vrijgezellenfeest description: "Original bachelor or bachelorette party in Zwolle: escape room or outdoor game at The Great Escape, followed by dinner at one of our partner restaurants in the city centre." lang: en --- Bachelor outing # Bachelor or bachelorette party in Zwolle Looking for a bachelor or bachelorette party in Zwolle the bride or groom will still talk about years later? At The Great Escape it's all about suspense, teamwork and a story where the bachelor takes centre stage. Whether you're heading out with a group of girlfriends, a bunch of mates, or a mix of both: our escape rooms and outdoor games are the perfect starting point for an unforgettable day, for men and women alike. We love mapping out a route that fits your group, from a short playful warm-up to a full day programme with dinner, drinks and everything in between. The core is always the same: sharing an experience you won't find anywhere else, and looking back on it with a smile — even at the wedding itself. We partner with top restaurants in Zwolle for a tailored dinner or drinks. Image: The Courtroom (https://hxeuprzoaefneqmjyxvj.supabase.co/storage/v1/object/public/escape-room-media/rooms/the-courtroom.png) ## More than escaping Escape rooms are the beating heart of your party, but there is much more possible than sixty minutes in a single room. Start the day with a Beer Escape (https://thegreatescape.nl/escaperooms/bier-escape) or another 30-minute escape: short, playful tasters that warm up the group without filling the entire programme. Perfect when everyone is still getting to know each other. For those who want to actively explore the city, we offer outdoor routes and puzzle trails (https://thegreatescape.nl/buiten-games) through Zwolle's old town. You play independently using a hint system on your phone, discovering hidden spots and solving riddles as you wander through Zwolle's historic streets. Ideal to stretch your legs between the game and dinner, and it provides some healthy movement after all that tension. And for real competition among friends, there is our battle mode. Two teams compete in the same room against the clock and each other. Who keeps a cool head and escapes first? The battle only gets real when the bride herself cracks the final code. Image: The Mission (https://hxeuprzoaefneqmjyxvj.supabase.co/storage/v1/object/public/escape-room-media/rooms/the-mission.png) ## Tailor-made packages A great bachelor party is about more than just the game. That's why we love putting together a complete day programme for you. Think of a relaxed welcome with bubbles and bites in our Escape Café, followed by a thrilling escape room or adventurous outdoor game. Afterwards you sit down for a sharing platter, walking dinner or an extensive BBQ with live cooking. Prefer heading into town for a full dinner? We partner with the best restaurants in Zwolle and arrange a table to suit your group. No hassle with bookings at five different places, no searching for parking in the city centre. Browse our packages (https://thegreatescape.nl/arrangementen) for an overview of the options, or request a tailored quote (https://thegreatescape.nl/offerte-aanvragen) right away if you're coming with a larger group and want everything arranged in one go. We do the thinking, you do the enjoying. Image: The Deal (https://hxeuprzoaefneqmjyxvj.supabase.co/storage/v1/object/public/escape-room-media/rooms/the-deal.png) ## Which room fits your group No two escape rooms are the same, and that's a good thing. For larger bachelor groups we recommend The Courtroom (https://thegreatescape.nl/escaperooms/the-courtroom) or The Deal (https://thegreatescape.nl/escaperooms/the-deal): here you can play in battle mode with 7 to 12 people split into two teams. It is the ultimate way to challenge each other — bride versus groom, or mates versus girlfriends — while still working together to escape the room. Looking for pure suspense and a cinematic story where every second counts? Then The Mission (https://thegreatescape.nl/escaperooms/the-mission) is the right choice: a breathtaking adventure where you have one goal as a team and no one is allowed to fail. For groups who love playful fun, special effects and a light-hearted vibe, The Boobytrap (https://thegreatescape.nl/escaperooms/the-boobytrap) is our top pick: defend a house against cunning burglars with mischief, tricks and surprising twists. Whatever atmosphere you're after — grim and intense or light and exuberant — we have a room that perfectly matches your group. ## Zwolle as an extension of the party The Great Escape is less than a five-minute walk from historic Zwolle city centre. That makes us the perfect stepping stone for a day or evening that goes beyond the game itself. After an intense hour of escaping — or, for those who didn't quite make it, after a heroic attempt — you walk straight onto the Grote Markt or into one of the cosy side streets. Terraces, cafés, atmospheric restaurants and nightlife venues abound to keep the bachelor party going in the city. Whether your group wants to move on to a hearty dinner, a pub crawl or a night of dancing: everything is within easy reach. We arrange the first part of your day with adrenaline, laughter and unforgettable moments; you decide how late it gets and where the adventure ends.
