# Things to do in Zwolle when it rains

Heavy rain outside? Looking for something fun to do in Zwolle? At The Great Escape, you're 100% indoors: escape rooms, short 30-minute escapes, and our own Escape Café for drinks afterwards.

Bad weather doesn't have to spoil your day. Our five 60–75 minute escape rooms and two 30-minute escapes are set in heated, atmospheric decors — you won't even notice the weather outside. Dropping in spontaneously? Check our last-minute page or our direct-booking flow: often there are still spots available today. Combine with a drink or a snack in the Escape Café, then you won't have to step back into the rain until later.

### Family & children

From 8-year-olds at a children's party to three generations exploring Zwolle together.

### Teams & colleagues

Teambuilding, department outings, and kick-offs — with or without food and drinks.

### Children's parties

Special Kids Escape program including cake and a present — from 8 years old.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I still come today if it's going to rain?

Often yes. Check the last-minute page or the direct-booking flow — there you'll see in real-time which slots are still available. When the weather is good, Zwolle books slowly, so a rain shower often creates last-minute spots.

### Are the escape rooms suitable for children on a rainy day?

Yes. From 8 years old, we have special Kids Escape rooms with supervision. A perfect activity for a rainy Wednesday afternoon or a holiday!

### What if we've booked an outdoor game and it rains?

Light drizzle is easy to play through. In case of persistent rain, we will look together for an indoor alternative or another date — please contact us.

### Can we also eat afterwards?

Absolutely. In our Escape Café, we serve snack boards, walking dinners, and BBQ. Handy if you're already inside and don't want to go out into the rain again.
